Contrast

In this picture I wanted to use colour against black and white to create an interesting photo. I like how it turned out, I think it's cool the way colours spread under my feet. It makes it look like I'm bringing life to the plants while I walk.

This picture shows the difference between modern technology (my phone) and paper books. I liked the blurring effect, it adds a sense of drama and depth. This picture uses value to add to that feeling.

I really wanted to have a picture with harsh lighting and stark black and white. I like the duality of the picture between the top and bottom half and my use of value to show all the details in the picture.
