Music Photography

The first picture here is for the song Pierre by Ryn Weaver. There's a lyric that goes "and then I found me a lover who could play the bass" and it reminds me of my boyfriend because he played bass in school of rock last year :) I wanted the picture to have a more vintage colour scheme and overall look and I think I accomplished that.

These next three photos are from the song CD baby by Chloe Moriondo. I thought that it would be fun to play around with reflections for this song, I also wanted to take inspiration from the album cover by adding some pink colours/hues to the pictures.

This picture is inspired by the song Meteor Shower by Cavetown, all of the lyrics remind me of my boyfriend but the line "meteor shower, quick take cover, but the hues in our hair compliment one another" is one of our favourites and I think the stars reflected on his face work really well with this lyric and song.

The last two pictures are from the song Downhill by Lincoln. There's a line that goes "you were the first one to show me the stars and they don't mean much to me but I still wonder where you are" and once again this relates to my boyfriend :) Stars are kinda symbolic for our relationship and this song also means a lot to us. I borrowed his star projector for these two and the last picture and I had a lot of fun playing around with the little stars
